- Soak whole black gram and kidney beans together for a night or for 10 hours
in 5 cups of water.Add water if required.
- Pressure cook the above soaked dals with 1 tsp ghee,salt and 1 tsp ginger-garlic-chilli paste for 45-50 mins on a sim flame after one whistle.
- Mash the above content thoroughly.
- In an another pan,boil ghee and add tomato puree,ginger-garlic-chilli paste,garam masala,red chilli powder,coriander powder and beaten cream.
- Cook for 10-15 mins on a low flame.
- Add this tadka or tempering to the mashed dal and mix well.
- Add butter and cook for 20-25 mins on a low flame.
- Garnish with butter and serve hot with any Indian bread.
