Masala Idli

Suji 250gm
Curd 100gm
Oil 1tsp
Water as per requirement
Salt to taste
Eno Masala 1/2tsp
Onion sliced 2
Tomato finely chopped 2
Capsicum finely chopped 1
Boiled potato 2
Red chili powder 1tsp
Coriander powder 1tsp
Turmeric Powder 1/2

For making Idli

  1. In suji add curd (sieved), oil, salt, eno water.
  2. Make a batter not so thick not so watery.
  3. Grease the idli moulds with oil.
  4. Put the batter in the moulds steam it for 10 – 15 min.
  5. Cut idli into four pieces.


  1. Take a pan, add ghee all the above vegetables into it.
  2. Add all the above spices into the vegetables 2 min well.
  3. Cook it for 5-7 min, it the vegetables be crisp.
  4. Add Idli into the above vegetables mixture 2 min well.
  5. Add tomato ketchup.
  6. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
