GREEN PEAS 1 CUP
CREAM OR MALAI ½ CUP
BUNCH METHI LEAVES(CHOPPED) 1
CUMIN SEEDS ½ TSP
ASAFOETIDA 1 PINCH
GHEE OR BUTTER 3 TSP
SALT TO TASTE
ONION 1
CURD 1 TSP
SUGAR 1 TSP
CASHEW NUTS 11/2 TSP
KHUSKHUS(POPPY SEEDS) 1 TSP
GREEN CHILLIES 2-3
CLOVES 2-3
CINNAMON ½ STICK
CARDAMOM 1-2

METHOD:

  1. Immerse methi in salted hot water for 5 mins.Drain and wash well in running water.Press out to remove water.keep aside.
  2. Heat ghee,add cumin seeds and asfoetida.Add paste and stir fry for 2-3 mins.Add powdered spices and stir.
  3. Add peas,methi leaves and beaten malai.Add all other ingredients.
  4. Boil for 2-3 mins or till gravy thickens.
  5. Serve hot with paranthas,rotis etc.

*If gravy feels too watery sprinkle dash of flour and stir.

*if gravy feels to thick,add a few tsp of milk.
