Moong Dal Halwa

SOAKED MOONG DAL 2 CUPS
MILK 1 CUP
SUGAR 2 CUPS
KHOYA ¾ CUP
GHEE 2 CUPS
MIXED DRYFRUITS ½ CUP

METHOD:

  1. Grind the soaked dal using little water to make a paste..
  2. Prepare sugar syrup.
  3. Heat ghee and add moong dal paste to it.
  4. Stir it properly.
  5. Reduce the flame , add milk to it and cook until the milk

    thickens.

  6. Add sugar syrup to the moong dal and mix it well.

    Cook it for 5 minutes. Now add khoya till it dissolves.

  7. Garnish with dry fruits.
  8. Moong dal halwa is ready to serve.
