RAJMA 1 CUP
ONION 1
TOMATO 1
GREEN CHILLI 1
GINGER-GARLIC PASTE 4 TSP
CORIANDER POWDER 1 TSP
RED CHILLI POWDER 1 TSP
TURMERIC POWDER ½ TSP
CUMIN SEEDS ½ TSP
GARAM MASALA 1 TSP
VEGETABLE OIL 4 TSP
SALT TO TASTE

METHOD:

  1. Soak rajma in water overnight.
  2. Pressure cook rajma until tender.
  3. Make paste of onion ,tomatoes and green chillies by grinding i† in a mixer.
  4. Heat oil in a pan.Add the cumin seeds,ginger-garlic paste and onion paste.
  5. Fry on medium heat until golden brown.
  6. Add all the above spices.Mix well.Fry for 5 mins.
  7. Add water enough to make thick gravy.Bring to boil.
  8. Add cooked rajma alongwith the water and stir well.
  9. Cook over medium heat for 8-9 mins.
  10. Serve hot with rice or chappatis.
