Tangy Potato

POTATOES(BOILED AND PEELED) 5 MEDIUM SIZE
TAMARIND EXTRACT 6 TSP
VEGETABLE OIL 2 TSP
CUMIN SEEDS ½ TSP
GINGER POWDER ½ TSP
SUGAR ½ TSP
SALT ½ TSP
RED CHILLI POWDER ½ TSP
BLACK PEPPER ½ TSP
CORIANDER LEAVES(FINELY CHOPPED) 1 TSP
WATER 1/4 CUP

METHOD:

  1. Cut potatoes into ½ inch cubes.
  2. Take a pan,heat oil and cumin seeds.Fry until they become brown.keep aside.
  3. Add tamarind extract,ginger powder,suga,salt,red chilli powder,black pepper and water in another pan.
  4. Cook for 10 minutes till the mixture becomes slightly thick.
  5. Remove the mixture from heat.
  6. Transfer the fried potatoes in a serving bowl,pour the tangy juice over it and mix thoroughly.
  7. Garnish it with coriander leaves.
